Day 17: Thank You, Brooks Trap Mill

It’s day 17 of 30 days of thanks and giving at Pope Memorial Humane Society. Brooks Trap Mill is dedicated to controlling the local homeless pet population.

Stray cats with their litters of kittens enjoy setting up shop at Brooks Trap Mill, but the staff knows that is not the best place for them. With plenty of experience using Havahart traps, they know they can trap cats and kittens and bring them to Pope Memorial Humane Society, where they will get food, shelter, and medical care. Many cats and kittens have found their forever homes because of the caring crew at Brooks Trap Mill.

Additionally, it is not uncommon for Brooks Trap Mill to drop off supplies for the animals in our care at Pope Memorial Humane Society.
