Maine Lobster Festival Awards $500 Grant to PMHS

AND introducing Lobster, the cat.

Pope Memorial Humane Society would like to thank the Maine Lobster Festival! The $500 grant you awarded PMHS enables the shelter to buy traps for the PMHS trap lending program. This program helps community members capture feral or stray cats in our neighborhood so that they can be brought to PMHS for care.

In honor of the Maine Lobster Festival and as a small thanks, we introduce you to “Lobster” (photo above), the most recently trapped stray cat, now in the safe hands of the staff at Pope Memorial Humane Society.
