A Big Thank You to the Fancher Family

Imagine our delight when the Fancher kids dropped by with a variety of items desperately needed at Pope Memorial Humane Society! These creative and kind humans made jewelry and sold it online with 100% of the profit used to buy items for PMHS. When asked why they chose to give back to PMHS, we were told:

“The kids love animals and the shelter. We adopted everything from a dog to rats from you over the years. They see value in all life have found so much joy over the years in seeing all you folks accomplish. The animals are in every Christmas letter they’ve ever written to Santa. Hoping they find homes. We’ve never been able to say no to a critter in need. I guess what I’m saying is it was a very natural choice for them. They know covid has been hard on everyone and when they think of who needs a reminder of love and goodness animals are their first thought.”

It’s ok if you need a tissue, this story brought tears to our eyes too. We are sending a gigantic thank you to the Fancher kids. We are proud to have them in our community, they are leading by example!
