A Lemonade Adventure!

Xavier and Lux have been supporters of Pope Memorial Humane Society for many years. This year in honor of Lux turning nine years old, these two decided to host a fundraiser for the animals of PMHS. Xavier and Lux contacted Heidi at Loyal Biscuit and asked to set up a lemonade stand outside the Rockland store. 

Xavier and Lux opened their stand for business on Saturday, August 14th. Many local community members, including but not limited to Motorcycle Club, Devils Pride Inc. 416, made a point to visit these young entrepreneurs. By the end of the day, between online donations and in-person lemonade sales, Xavier and Lux raised over $1,400! To say we are proud of these two kids would be an understatement. The money raised will give homeless animals a second chance. It will provide food, shelter, and medical care to many animals. Xavier and Lux, you’re making a difference. Thank you, and Happy Birthday Lux!!
