Betty White demonstrated a lifelong commitment to helping animals in need, working her entire life to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Over the past few days, we’ve received many messages from community members looking to participate in the #BettyWhiteChallenge.

She was an inspiration and source of comfort and laughter to many of us throughout her life. Her passion for animals and supporting them along with the people who love them continues to make an impact. It exemplifies the work Pope Memorial Humane Society and countless animal welfare organizations across the country aim to do every single day.
This is a golden opportunity to honor her legacy and passion for animals in need by encouraging animal lovers like Betty to give $5 (or any amount) to your favorite animal welfare organization in honor of what would have been her 100th birthday on January 17th.
