Art for Animals: Mary Jane Martin Exhibit at PMHS
Pope Memorial Humane Society is thrilled to announce its newest exhibition of artwork, which is now on display on the Art Wall in the shelter’s lobby. The show, featuring pieces by Mary Jane Martin, is on display and available for purchase through January 15th, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Pope Memorial Humane Society.
Mary Jane Martin has lived in Rockland for 20 years and has been a lifelong lover of cats and dogs. She’s pleased to show a collection of photographs she has taken over many years of her pets and their friends. Mary Jane believes that we can learn a lot from our fellow creatures.
Her mission here is to hopefully give you smiles and appreciation of our friends.
Pope Memorial Humane Society is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. We encourage our community to visit the shelter and see Mary Jane’s artwork and all the adoptable animals. If you are interested in exhibiting your work on the PMHS Art Wall, please email art@popehumane.org.
The mission of Pope Memorial Humane Society is to ensure the compassionate care, treatment, and placement of companion animals in transition and to enrich the lives of pets and people in our community.
