New Year, New Homes: 56 Animals Adopted from Pope Memorial Humane Society
January may be one of the slower months of the year, but at Pope Memorial Humane Society, it was anything but quiet! With the holiday season behind us and winter in full swing, you might expect a lull in adoptions—but instead, we saw a wave of animals finding their second chances, their homes and families.
In January alone, 56 animals embarked on new adventures with their loving families. Our adoptees included cats, dogs, birds, rats, guinea pigs, and even a bearded dragon! It was a month of joyful goodbyes and exciting new beginnings.
None of this would be possible without our incredible community. Your unwavering support—through donations, volunteering, fostering, and spreading the word on social media—makes a real difference in the lives of these animals. Your generosity and kindness allow us to continue our mission of helping homeless pets find the love and care they deserve.
As we step into February, we invite you to celebrate with us! Enjoy the video below with all the smiles, and know you play a vital role in making these happy endings possible. Thank you for being part of the PMHS family—we couldn’t do it without you!
