Day 11 of 30 Days of Thanks and Giving

Day 11 of 30 days of thanks and giving at Pope Memorial Humane Society brings us to one of the most amazing couples we know. Kearney and Paul Neagle are devoted to the animals of Pope Memorial Humane Society. We could write a novel about the excellent work they do for the shelter, but you don’t want to read a book right now, so instead, we will highlight some of their good deeds.

They volunteer weekly, cleaning cat condos, sweeping and mopping floors, washing litter boxes, opening countless cans of cat food, walking dogs, running dog playgroups.

Paul drove Harley the dog to Florida for intensive training with Dogs Playing for Life. Kearney always puts the starting bids down for silent auction items and is known to raise the bids in the blink of an eye, raising more money for PMHS.

When they see the shelter is desperately low on an item, they have been known to run and buy a case of cat food or paper towels. They volunteer at events, running tables, putting up tents, baking yummy treats for bake sales. We could go on and on.

Kearney and Paul are devoted to local homeless pets in need. We are proud to have them as part of our community and thank them for all they have done and continue to do. Kearney and Paul, you’re making a difference.
