Day 14: The Cooperative Transfer Station in Thomaston

Day 14 of 30 days of thanks and giving at Pope Memorial Humane Society brings us to an often unseen hero in our community, the Cooperative Transfer Station in Thomaston.

The Transfer Station has helped so much over the years. They allow Pope Memorial Humane Society to keep a trailer on-site to collect bottles and cans donated by our community. These efforts collect thousands of dollars each year that directly help the animals in our care at Pope Memorial Humane Society.

The team at the Transfer Station has gone above and beyond many times, and we are truly grateful. Thank you for making a difference!
