Day 15: Thank You, Carla!

It’s day 15 of our 30 days of thanks and giving at Pope Memorial Humane Society! We’re halfway through the month, and there are still so many people and businesses to recognize; way more than 30 days will allow.

With that said, we would be remiss if we didn’t recognize and thank the fantastic Carla Skinder. Carla has been a PMHS volunteer for years and continues to go above and beyond to help. Cleaning cat condos, walking dogs, picking up bags upon bags of returnable cans and bottles, Carla is willing to do it. Does a cat or dog need to see a specialist in Portland? Carla will drive them. Need to meet someone from another shelter to pick up an animal transfer? Carla will do it!

Carla, we are so grateful for all your do for the staff and animals of Pope Memorial Humane Society. Thank you for always jumping in to help. You’re making a difference, and we are proud to have you as part of our community.
