Interested in Volunteering at PMHS?

Are you interested in volunteering with Pope Memorial Humane Society? The first step is coming to one of our Volunteer Orientations! Join us for our monthly volunteer orientation in the Pope Memorial Humane Society Community Room from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 11th, 2022.

Please join us to learn about volunteering at PMHS, tour the facilities, and complete the application if you haven’t yet. The Shelter needs A LOT of volunteer hours each month to make sure the animals are clean, dry, and comfortable, and we’d love to have you join the team!

Volunteer tasks include but are not limited to:
Cleaning – cat rooms, condos, small animal room, dog kennels, pens
Events – parades, tabling, signature events, baking
*Interested in being a dog walker? Want to learn how to be a part of our dog playgroups? Come to the orientation!
