Lost, Found, and Looking: Can you pass the Meow-Meow test?

More often than not when you ask someone where they found their pet, they will tell you about visiting the shelter and being “picked” by their cat or dog. All checklist items are thrown out the window when a certain animal decides you’re the one. It is amazing to watch the interactions of our residents with different people. Is it the tone of your voice, your smell or do you remind them of a happier time in their lives? Whatever it may be, there is something to be said for a certain chemistry between animals and the people they chose to be their family members.

One of our resident felines takes the interviewing of prospective homes to a new level. We have tried to explain to Meow-Meow that letting people know she likes them is all that is necessary. She, however, believes in complete honesty and insists on being very clear should you not meet her criteria. This pretty little tabby cat knows what she wants and will not settle for less. If you meet with her approval, Meow-Meow will be your sassiest, spiciest, most loving friend for life. Come in and see if you can pass the Meow-Meow test.

On the other hand, Catfish is a dog who has never met a stranger. Besides being an incredibly handsome young man, Catfish has energy to spare and likes nothing better than spending time with his people.
