Lost, Found and Looking: Vintage felines to enrich your home
From the desk of Pope Memorial Humane Society’s Foster Coordinator Brandi Moore:
Ever thought about fostering a special needs or senior kitty? Well then meet Karmen, Ming and Lucy!
Soft, fluffy, lap warmer seeking a toasty lap to snuggle up on! Karmen (above) is a sweet, senior, Maine Coon Cat lady on a special diet, who needs a foster or adoptive home where she doesn’t have access to anyone’s food, but her own. Karmen prefers a quiet home with lots of love!
Fine, vintage statue needs a warm, sunny windowsill with good lighting to be best admired! Ming is a gorgeous and affectionate Siamese boy, who is also on a special diet and needs a foster or adoptive home with no other cats to steal his munchies!
Looking for an alternative to Siri to converse with while social distancing? Well look no further, Lucy’s your gal! (photo at right). She’s a lovely, black coated, talkative senior lady, on a special diet. Lucy would also like a foster or adoptive home where she can be the center of attention without any feline competition!
Pope Humane has several additional senior and special needs cats, needing either a special diet or some easy to administer medication. They’d love to offer their companionship to someone with a little extra TLC to give to them; so that they can spend their golden years, or even just a shelter vacation, in a nice cozy home away from the stresses of shelter life.
