Trap Rental

PMHS allows community members to borrow traps. There is a rental fee of $15 per week and a $60-per-trap deposit. The deposit is returned in full when the trap is returned (with no damage) to PMHS seven days later. If you need to extend the borrowing period, give us a call; otherwise, we will keep the deposit and use it to replace the unreturned trap. Traps are not intended to trap wildlife.

Microchipping

Pope Memorial Humane Society offers microchipping services for dogs, cats, and small animals. Microchips quickly identify lost pets and reunite them with their owners. Roughly the size of a rice grain, the microchip is inserted beneath the pet’s skin’s surface between the shoulder blades. The process is similar to a routine shot, takes only a few seconds, and the pet reacts as it would to a vaccination. No anesthetic is required.

• Microchips cannot track the animal. Owner contact information must be kept up to date.

Nail Trims

Nail trimming is an essential part of your pet’s routine care. Pope Memorial Humane Society currently offers nail trimming for dogs and cats.
