Thank You to the Maine Community Foundation!

A giant thank you to the Maine Community Foundation! Pope Memorial Humane Society was fortunate enough to be awarded a $10,000 emergency grant to help keep the doors open for local homeless animals in our community. We are grateful for their generosity.

The Maine CF coordinated with the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation to support animal welfare organizations statewide. The Sewall Foundation supports work in Maine to improve the well-being of people, animals and the environment while fostering relationships that strive for social equity and community resilience.
